As far as I know, propane does not have a shelf life. It’s a gas – it can’t really go bad, much like how “oxygen” or “hydrogen” don’t have shelf lives. If they aren’t chemically reacting with something, they will stay as is forever. The only thing you would have to worry about with propane is the shelf life of the tank holding it. The metal propane tanks are generally very durable and will rust and decay over time, but even those have an absurdly long shelf life which is why they are often stored as part of emergency supplies.
