Does the Prius look the way it does because of how aerodynamic it is?

Much of the Prius’ design was intended to make it more aerodynamic. The form is “boomerange-esque”, and certain sculpted features and corners direct the airflow in just the right direction.

The Prius was also designed to appeal to people aesthetically. It was intended to look both somehwat conservative and futuristic, to appeal to both younger and older generations.
