    Yes, powder coat paint is more environmentally friendly than solvent-based paint. This is because powder coat paint emits little to no VOCs, or volitile organic compounds. Also, the manufacturers that make powder coat paint produce less hazardous waste during its production–there is no paint sludge, for example, in the production of powder coat paint. Also, its manufacturing in general uses less energy and materials, so it is better in terms of resource conservation.
