Does the pacific north west have a lot of wind power?

    Yes, it does. Montana has enough wind power to supply a quarter of the energy used by the United States. However, it currently utilizes only about .1% of the potential wind power available. Together, Washington and Oregon produce about 2000 MW of wind power annually.
