Does our government ever pull old money from circulation?

    Yes, the federal reserve system pulls old money from circulation and destroys it as well as creates new money to destribute to banks. Even though it is run by corporations, it is still run by government officials

    When money is old, tattered or torn and finds its way into bank teller hands, they confiscate the bills and send them to the federal reserve.
