Obama clearly states on his website that he wants 25% of all energy produced in the United States to come from renewable energy sources, including solar, wind, biofuels, and geothermal power. This occurred despite opposition from lawmakers and Native American tribes, who claimed it would harm tourism, aviation safety, and local wildlife.
