Not the computer itself, no, but unless you’re using a green energy source, powering the computer consumes energy from coal-burning power plants that cause significant CO2 emissions. You can reduce the amount of CO2 released by your PC by turning it off or putting it in standby when not in use. Better yet, unplug it, as it continues to leech up to 30% of the energy it uses when activated when shut off. This will help your power bill, too!
