Does Mexico have a large rainforest?

    Yes.  Mexico has the northernmost tropical and subtropical rainforest in the world.  It stretches from Mexico City to the Gulf of Mexico, and out to the city of Chiapas.  The largest reserve in Mexico is the Calakmul Biosphere which spanks over 1.8 million acres.
