Levi’s makes use of new tags which encourages consumers to wash items in cold water, dry them on a clothesline, and, when no longer in want of the article, donate them to Goodwill. They have also set greenhouse gas emissions reduction targets for its operations and purchase organic cotton.
On another note, if you wear your Levi’s or other jeans to a point where they can’t be reused, you can send them to Green Jeans Insulation where they will be recycled.
My goodness, the things I have learned today.
Levi’s does have recycled jeans! They also try to reduce the amount of packaging and tags on their clothes.
