First, I am going to assume that we are talking about South Korea, rather than North Korea. The subway system is not nationwide but is, like in most countries, centered in a large metropolitan area. It is located in Seoul, South Korea’s largest city and capitol, and does cover a large portion of the city. Relative to the size of the city, it seems to be as extensive as New York City’s subway system (not in actually miles covered by rail, but percent of the city serviced by the subway).
