Does it rain more or less in areas that often have a lot of fog?

It rains more in areas that have a lot of fog.  Fog and rain transition between one another, so they go hand in hand.  Fog occurs when there is moisture in the air, and the temperature drops below the dew point, and so visible droplets condense.  As the temperature continues to drop, the droplets become bigger, become rain.
