Does it rain every day in the rain forest?

No. Rainforest precipitation patterns vary between rainforests, however, generally speaking, there is a rainy season and a dry season. Again, the specifics vary between forests and regions of the world, but a 4-5 month dry season is not atypical for an equatorial lowland rainforest.
