Does Indonesia have a lot of rainforest?

Yes, Indonesia has a rain forest that covers its archipelago. In the 1960’s 82 percent of Indonesia was covered in rain forest. As of 1995 only 49 percent of Indonesia is covered by rain forest with that number shrinking due to logging and mining. Indonesia faces the loss of rain forest – plant and animals, second only to Brazil.
