Does exercise increase immune cells in the blood?

    Yes. Moderate exercise has been shown to increase the number and speed of bacteria killing cells in our body called, macrophages, but only temporarily. After a few hours the immune system returns more or less to normal. But this has been related with a decrease in occurrence of the common cold. Check the article below for more details.
