Does Iceland have hydrothermal activity and how do they use it benificially?

I assume you mean geothermal energy, although Iceland also has significant sources of hydropower. Geothermal energy is widely used in Iceland, where 87% of people have central heating that is powered by it. There, it costs less than half of what oil or electric heating would cost. The steam from geothermal energy is also used in industrial processes and for generating electricity powered by it.
