Pollution hurts humans and other animals the same. Obviously pollution is dumped in areas that limit human contact, but since nature is a cycle and most things are connected in order to survive, the pollution eventually comes back to hurt humans as well. Air pollution effects everyone equally because there is no way to control where those harmful substances go once they are released into the atmosphere. Animals obviously don’t know how to protect themselves from pollution and don’t have the means to escape it or get medical attention of they become exposed. We do rely on nature to survive and even if it isn’t direct human contact, we are still being hurt by the other organisms and ecosystems we destroy.
