According to the calculations on http://www.betweenwaters.com/etc/usrain.html , Hawaii has a substantially lower total rainfall per year than both Washington and Oregon. The volume of rainfall in Oregon is also nearly double that of Washington’s annual rainfall, but both tower over the annual rainfall of Hawaii.
Oregon – 57 cubic miles
Wash – 30 cubic miles
Hawaii – 2 cubic miles
