According to the National Renewable Energy Laboratory’s 2009 report, Hawaii ranks 7th out of US states with 13,525 kilowatts of installed capacity. That’s after California (highest at 528,262 kW), New Jersey, Colorado, Nevada, Arizona, and New York.
