Does Hawaii have a large fishing industry?

Hawaii’s fishing industry ranks 6th in the US, bringing in $64.3 million in 1996 (for some reason I couldn’t find figures later than that). Honolulu itself brought in $50 million of that. Hawaii also consumes twice as much fish as the national average, and one quarter of all Hawaiians engage in fishing at least once a year.
