Not necessarily. If that somehow manages to decrease energy usage, then maybe, but generally speaking that is a technique to reduce labor costs, not environmental ones. If anything, I fear it might increase resource usage in a variety of different ways and end up worse than before.
If employing the use of robots to do the same work the same way and using the same processes as humans do, it will not make any difference. It will be far less green to eploy the use of robots since it means polluting the environment all the more to produce robots. On the other hand, if the use of robot means less use of substances that harm the environment, it is a welcome development otherwise, it is mere bunkum!
