Not necessarily, caloric content is something that can be enhanced through non-organic means, so organics do not really have more, nor is that really their focus. Organic foods are more focused on being produced in a sustainable way that does not have the damaging effects of established mono-cultures and chemical/pesticide run-off.
An organic product is one that is grown without pesticides or synthetic fertilizers. The plant is still the same. An organic tomato has the same genetic makeup as a regular tomato, and therefore the same amount of energy. Its what organic products DON’T have that makes them important, and that’s pesticides and chemical yuck.
