This depends on several things. First of all, the size of the pan you are using to fry the chicken matters. If the pan is much larger than the food you are cooking, you are wasting energy. If you use a gas stove and the fire does not burn blue, this is inefficent. Essentially what is comes down to though, is what method takes the least amount of time. If you have to let the grill get hot for 10 minutes, and the oil takes two…. this is a factor. It really comes down to the efficiency of your methods and products.
