Does global warming increase rates of Lyme disease?

    It seems as though global warming does increase rate of Lyme disease.  Lyme disease rates have increased in Canada as of what has been thought to be caused by global warming.  Global warming increases the length of seasons and allows for ticks to be active longer each season creating more opportunities to spread the disease.
