Does fungi grow better in warm regions?

It all depends on the fungus you are talking about. Some fungi can tolerate temperatures that are very low or very high because they have adapted to them. Most fungi however, are best suited to grow in moderate temperatures. Most fungi, like mold, can easily adapt to their surroundings and thrive in temperatures between 40 and 100 degree Fahrenheit.
