Does the EPA watch the healthcare industry for their environmental impact?

When the healthcare industry creates a direct impact on the environment then the EPA can authorize regulating capabilities.  The EPA also sets standards for programs and issues permits when applicable.  In general though, other organizations work more often in the healthcare field like OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration).
