Does the EPA require a minimum portion of farmers’ fields in the Corn Belt be planted with non-GM crops?

The EPA does not require a certain amount of farmland to be GM free. A major problem with GM crops is that they spread to the surrounding non-GM crops and mix with their genetics, making them GM also. The EPA is currently conducting studies on how to prevent this from happening and the effects of it.
