does the EPA have a problem with factory farms?

    The EPA has a problem with factory farms because local communities have problems with factory farms.  They have recently vowed to more closely monitor the activities and conditions of the facilities.  The main reason for concern is due to the massive waste produced at these facilities, which finds it way inevitably into local water streams, lakes, ponds, etc…

    Many agencies view this step as a starting point in the monitoring and management of these massive producers of pollutant to our environment (there is currently very little information on these factory facilities that exists, they have been allowed to operate unmonitored for years now).

    It goes to show that when the public causes a fuss, together we have the power to influence change for the better.
