Does the EPA buy any renewable energy projects?

The EPA does buy renewable energy.  In 2001, for example, the EPA partnered Community Energy Inc. to power three of its Ohio facilities with renewable energy.

In addition to purchasing its own renewable energy, the EPA offers help to companies to wish to buy their own renewable power or take other green steps.
