Does drinking a sufficient amount of water lead to healthier skin?

This question is controversial and easily leads to myths or statements not given adequate scientific proof. Water does helps the kidneys flush your body of toxins though. Without sufficient water, the waste built up in your body cannot be properly removed. This in turn affects your skin and instead of flushing toxins out of your system, they accumulate and can escape through your skin pores. This can make you more prone to acne.
