Does Diesel gas burn longer than unleaded gas?

Gasoline and diesel engines themselves are relatively similar, but they work in different ways. Gasoline needs a spark and less compression to ignite, while diesel need more compression yet has no need of a spark.
It saves more money and you need less diesel to get places than gasoline.
