Does geography dictate how green people are?

It’s possible for geography to dictate how green people are to a certain extent, but more so because of the ways in which they can be green. For example, Arizona will more likely pursue solar energy as their means of greening, while that might not be the best option for Seattle, Washington. Chicago and other places in the midwest might prefer wind power. The climate and the geography can influence the type of greening people can do. Additionally, the amount of resources as a whole will impact how green people HAVE to be. In regions where it rains relatively infrequently, people are forced to be more water conscious and conserve as a part of their daily lifestyle. Where water is abundant, people might not be as green as they COULD be, simply because the need isn’t as apparent as it is elsewhere.
