Does dial-up internet use more energy than broadband connections?

Only insomuch that it would take longer to log into the internet and therefore cause one to spend more time loading web-pages hence using more electricity. Altough the usage of energy would also depend on the kilowatt hours used by your moniter and computer. Since running the computer takes far mor energy up than accesing the internet, one would need to use the most efficent components.
