Cold whether makes propane tanks have less vapor pressure then at a normal temperature. This means that cold weather uses more propane than at normal temperatures. It is recommended that the gas be stored in a garage or warmed up in warm water before cooking to raise the vapor pressure. This would make the grill use propane more efficiently in cold temperatures.
