The cans do, though the company claims that this poses no threat to the health of the “general public”. They claim that it is the industry standard and that scientific evidence shows that BPA poses no threat to humans. Over all, the info on this link is pretty skewed. BPA has been shown to increase cell proliferation in cancer cells in rats. And several studies link it to breast and prostate cancer in humans.
