Does the climate shape the landscape?

Climate is the average weather in a place over a long period of time. Weather is the daily temperature, precipitation and air pressure in a place that produces sunny skies or storms. Weather and climate both involve sunlight, air and water, all of which help to shape the landscape through erosional processes, growth of vegetation and organisms and creation of complex landform systems such as rivers and lakes. Climate changes that produced the Ice Ages, for example, created the glaciers that in turn created structures such as the Great Lakes and Yosemite.
