Does China or India have a bigger problem with their E-waste?

For those who don’t know, E-waste is discarded electronic products – I would include appliances – (cell phones, TV’s, refrigerators, microwave ovens, etc).  Most of them end up in landfills or incinerators.  More recently I’ve heard that some are being exported to Asia.

According to today’s projected stats, it looks like India will have a bigger problem with E-waste than China.  For example, compared to 2007 levels, by 2020 it is predicted that E-waste from old computers will have jumped by 200-400% while India’s will have jumped by 500%.
