Does China have more houses than we do?

    There are more households in China than the United States. As of 2008, there were 426 million households in China. The number is expected to increase to 549 million by 2028. In 2006, the U.S. Census Bureau estimated that the number of households in the United States was 110 million. This year, the number of households in the U.S. is said to about 120 million, and there will be approximately 15 million more households 10 years from now.
