    It looks like China’s equivalent of the EPA is the Ministry of Environmental Protection of the People’s Republic of China. The web address for this organization is a .gov for China, so it looks like a legitimate government agency. Part of the mission of the MEP is to develop plans and laws to protect the environment. It is in charge of addressing environmental accidents, reducing emissions and controlling pollution.
