Does smoking cause you to produce more CO2 when you are breathing regular?

The CO2 created when you burn anything, whether it’s a campfire, a pile or papers, or a cigarette, eventually enters the atmosphere. Some of it is going to be released just by burning, some when you exhale. This is some percentage of the CO2 taken up by the plant when it was growing. It is also carbon from the tar and other products in the cigarette, as well as the paper it is wrapped in.
