Based on average rainfall nationwide, the United States receives more rainfall than its “hat,” Canada. Rainfall in the U.S. is an average of 42.5 in. each year, while Canada sees roughly 34.1 in. each year.
This is probably because the US contains “semi-tropical” areas with a lot of rainfall. The Wettest areas in the US are States like Louisiana and Hawaii, which are hot, humid climates. with a lot of warm, moist air. Canada’s air is generally colder and drier.
