Yes. Canada has a total forest cover of about 244 thousand hectares while the United States has only about 225 thousand hectares.
Canada does have more forest land than the US according to a 2009 UN Food and Agriculture study, but not by much. Canada’s 310,000 hectares is only slightly more than the US’s 303,000 hectares. The main differences are that Canada’s forests are 92% publically owned, versus the US at only 42%, and much of Canada’s forests are frontier forests.
