Any calories you consume have the potential to make you gain wait. Anytime you consume calories that you do not burn in your daily activity or through exercise, your body naturally will turn them in to fat as a energy store for later. This was of course a very handy trait when humans depended on hunting and gathering so food supplies were irregular, but today it means we must be conscious of what we are ingesting and how much we are using.
It depends on many factors. First off, where are the calories coming from? Are they from fruits, or from sugar? Sugar is more likely to make you gain weight. Second, how many calories are you burning per day? If you exercise a lot, you’re less likely to gain weight.
