British Columbia and Ontario have the greatest amount of biodiversity in Canada.  Ontario rivals BC due to it’s size and the lines of latitude and longitude it crosses. BC’s biodiversity is due to it’s coastal areas, mountains, forests, and dry northern areas. The province has more plants and animals species than any other province.
