Does Brazil have any police force that watch the rainforest?

    Yes.  Brazil put together an environmental police force a few years ago, which is a division of Ibama, the nation’s environmental protection agency.  Their duty is to monitor logging activity in the rainforest and attempt to stop illegal logging.  The companies who are breaking the laws are not happy about it and have attacked Ibama outposts in the rainforest to retaliate.
