Does Brazil do a good job with wildlife conservation?

Moderate. It’s not abysmal, but Brazil is a pretty unregulated developing country, for the most part, and even what laws there are typically aren’t enforced terribly well (has a lot to do with the corruption in the legal system, apparently).

However, their building regulations when it comes to conservation of the Amazon seems to be working in several ways- including protecting the forest from some of the effects of global warming. 17%, however, has still been deforested, so you’d really have to judge yourself as to whether or not that qualifies as a “good job.”
