Does BPA cause heart disease?

Five days ago the National Geographic published the results of a study that concluded that BPA is linked to heart disease.  BPA is used commonly in consumer plastic products, including in many normal food containers we use every day.  A person with high levels of BPA in their system is more than twice as likely to develop coronary disease than someone with low levels.  However, the study also concluded that now that many people and manufacturers know the dangers of BPA they are steering clear of its use.
