Does blue light cause sleep problems and ADHD?

No, blue light doesn’t cause ADHD and sleep problems.  However, doctors do beleive that blocking blue light with special glasses can improve symptoms in those who already have ADHD or sleep problems.  Blue light, according to sleep specialists, prevents the release of melatonin, the sleep hormone.  By wearing blue-light glasses, people can trigger melatonin production in the day-time, which leads to more restful sleep.
