Does being overweight cause stress on our agriculture industry?

    Researchers from the U.K. released a study that showed obese people aggravate global warming because more food production equals more oil consumption, which ultimately leads to an increase in the release of carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases. The study showed “eighteen percent more food energy is required in many populations where there is a large prevalence of obesity.” This increase in food energy may stress the agriculture industry since more production is required.
