Yes it does, if you walk and ride your bike more than drive, you are getting exercise, if you eat more local and organic foods it is a lot healthier than frozen or processed food.

The more green practices you take up, the more of your own energy you should be expending through exercise, the less empty calories you should be eating through processed foods, and the less chemicals and possible carcinogens that you are encountering. Of course, not every green choice will make you thinner or healthier, but the more green you go, the closer to a natural and healthier life you get!
