Does the average American eat more beef or pork in a year?

    According to the American Meat Institute fact sheet, beef is what’s for dinner…at least a little more often than pork.  In 2007, Americans consumed 65lbs of beef per person, while in the same year, only 50.5lbs of pork was consumed per American.  Find more intersting statistics on production and consumption here
